Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

The animated series follows a Peter Parker in an alternate timeline where Tony Stark is not his mentor, replacing the Stark-dependency arc with a story about a young Spider-Man building his identity without an established framework to inherit or rebel against. The retro-futurist visual style — evoking the original Ditko comics while remaining contemporary in animation technique — gives the series a distinct aesthetic within the MCU's animated output. It is the franchise's first sustained attempt at an animated Spider-Man narrative set adjacent to but independent from the live-action continuity.
