MCU Watchlist ("we", "us", "our") operates marvelwatchlist.com (the "Site"). This page explains what information is collected when you use the Site and how it is used. We do not sell your data to third parties.

1. Data We Collect

We do not ask you to create an account or submit any personal information. The Site collects the following data automatically:

• Usage analytics — pages visited, events (button clicks, filter usage, trailer plays), approximate country and device type. This data is collected via Google Analytics and is used to understand how the Site is used and to improve it.
• Watchlist data — titles you mark as watched and your personal schedule are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

2. Cookies

The Site uses cookies placed by third-party services:

• Google Analytics — sets cookies (_ga, _gid, _gat) to distinguish users and sessions. Data is processed by Google LLC in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google AdSense — if ads are served on the Site, Google AdSense may set cookies to show personalised advertisements based on your browsing history. You can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
• Amazon Associates — clicking affiliate links to Amazon may result in Amazon placing cookies on your device. See Amazon's Privacy Notice.

3. Google Analytics

5. Amazon Associates

MCU Watchlist is a participant in the Amazon Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. We only link to products we consider relevant to our audience.

6. TMDB

Movie and TV data (titles, posters, cast, ratings) is sourced from The Movie Database (TMDB). No user data is shared with TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

8. Your Rights

EEA / UK users (GDPR) — you have the right to access, rectify, or erase personal data held about you, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Since we do not collect personal data directly, these rights primarily apply to data held by Google (Analytics and AdSense). Contact Google or use the opt-out tools linked above.

California users (CCPA) — you have the right to know what personal data is collected and to opt out of the sale of personal data. We do not sell personal data.

To clear your watchlist data, open your browser's developer tools and clear localStorage for marvelwatchlist.com.

9. External Links

The Site contains links to external websites (Amazon, streaming platforms, news sources). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of the page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
