Spider-Man: Brand New Day
"A brand new day starts now."
Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he's devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
Editorial Notes
The second reboot of the Sony-MCU Spider-Man series follows No Way Home's identity erasure to its logical endpoint — a Peter Parker who must rebuild his life with no legacy to lean on and no mentor to replace. The Brand New Day premise allows the film to interrogate whether Spider-Man's value is in the person behind the mask or the idea the mask represents. It is a structural reset with genuine creative potential, built on No Way Home's most radical creative decision: that walking away from everything you've built is sometimes the only honest move.
