Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter

The short film featuring Peggy Carter handling a mission on the same day as the Battle of New York is the direct precursor to the Agent Carter television series — the proof-of-concept that demonstrated the character could carry her own narrative. At twelve minutes it is a tighter and more focused piece than many of the network episodes that followed from it, and Hayley Atwell's performance makes the case for the series more efficiently than any pitch document could.
