Fisk manipulates the FBI from inside prison. Matt reveals his identity to Karen and Foggy. Directly sets up Born Again S1 — Fisk's arc and Daredevil's public exposure both continue there.

Why It Matters in the MCU

The third season of Netflix's Daredevil is the series at its formal peak — a single season arc built around Matt Murdock's crisis of faith after his apparent death, structured as a Catholic guilt narrative as much as a superhero story. Wilson Bethel's Bullseye is the franchise's most precisely calibrated secondary villain, and his psychological unravelling is given enough screentime to feel genuinely disturbing rather than simply menacing. The prison conversation between Daredevil and Kingpin in the finale is the best two-hander the entire Netflix run produced.

Where It Fits in the MCU

Daredevil (Season 3) sits at position 63 of 133 in the MCU's story-chronological order, placing it within the Phase 3B — Civil War & Fallout (2016–2018) era. It is rated Recommended — enriches the story but not strictly required. Watching in story-chronological order provides the most coherent character development experience — individual arcs build naturally toward the franchise's major crossover events, with each film's post-credits scenes carrying forward into what follows.
