"Revenge is a witch."

Released September 18, 2024 6h 45m ★ 7.4TMDB ◆ Recommended for the MCU

Agatha Harkness gathers a coven of witches and sets off down, down, down The Witches' Road.

Watch note

Agatha leads a coven through the Witches' Road. The Teen is Billy Maximoff, Wanda's son. Agatha dies and continues as a ghost; she and Billy set out to find Tommy. Self-contained witch mythology — no confirmed Doomsday connection.

Why It Matters in the MCU

The WandaVision spin-off uses a road-through-the-witches' road format to deliver the franchise's most mythology-dense exploration of magical tradition, building on the Darkhold lore while introducing a coven structure that functions as both horror ensemble and chosen family. Kathryn Hahn's Agatha Harkness is the strongest villain-turned-protagonist in the Disney+ catalog, and the series commits to her moral complexity rather than softening it for sympathetic purposes. The Billy Maximoff subplot seeds the franchise's next supernatural arc with enough care that the finale's implications carry genuine weight into the next phase.
