Wonder Man (Season 1)
"He was born to play this role, but the spotlight reveals everything."
Simon and Trevor, two actors at opposite ends of their careers, chase life-changing roles.
Simon Williams — Hollywood actor with ionic powers. Standalone Marvel Spotlight series. Rumoured but not officially confirmed for Doomsday.
Why It Matters in the MCU
The Simon Williams/Wonder Man series follows the first celebrity Avenger — an actor and stuntman turned superhero — through the Los Angeles entertainment industry, using the showbusiness setting to explore the franchise's relationship to its own celebrity machinery. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II brings an actor's understanding of performance and persona to a character whose powers derive from a similar duality, and the series' industry satire has more targets than any previous Marvel production.
Where It Fits in the MCU
Wonder Man (Season 1) sits at position 127 of 133 in the MCU's story-chronological order, placing it within the Phase 6 — Doomsday (2026) era. It is rated Recommended — enriches the story but not strictly required. Watching in story-chronological order provides the most coherent character development experience — individual arcs build naturally toward the franchise's major crossover events, with each film's post-credits scenes carrying forward into what follows.
