Why It Matters in the MCU

Season 4 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. introduced Ghost Rider in its opening arc — the franchise's most unexpected tonal pivot in the ABC run — before pivoting into the Framework simulation storyline, which explored what the core characters would have become if HYDRA had won.
