VisionQuest (Season 1)
After the events of WandaVision, White Vision struggles to connect with the memories given to him as he lacks the emotions or feelings associated with them.
White Vision — restored with all his memories at the end of WandaVision — searches for his identity. James Spader returns as Ultron. Completes the WandaVision trilogy. Airs in the window before Doomsday.
Why It Matters in the MCU
The continuation of Vision's story following WandaVision explores what it means to be an artificial person defined entirely by constructed memory and a connection to someone who no longer exists. Paul Bettany returns for a series that takes seriously what WandaVision left unresolved — whether the rebuilt Vision retains anything of the emotional history he was specifically designed to have forgotten. It is the franchise's most philosophical extended character study.
Where It Fits in the MCU
VisionQuest (Season 1) sits at position 131 of 133 in the MCU's story-chronological order, placing it within the Phase 6 — Doomsday (2026) era. It is rated Essential — must-watch for following the main MCU narrative. Watching in story-chronological order provides the most coherent character development experience — individual arcs build naturally toward the franchise's major crossover events, with each film's post-credits scenes carrying forward into what follows.
